In some places, the letter 'E' is used as the failing grade. 'F' is used interchangeably because it is the first letter in the word 'Fail'.

And the F kids went to live in stupid homes. But then there were these E kids. They weren't smart enought to live productive lives, but they weren't dumb enough to live in the stupid homes, so they died. Thats why there is no E in the grading system.

Well...actually, it's because when everything used to be hand-written, it was too easy to change and F into an E.

Can we boot the system without active c drive ?
If your operating system is on another drive, then you can change the boot drive in the BIOS to that drive. If you're asking if you can boot into your operating system that is located on your C drive without the C drive being active, then no, you can't.

sometimes there's even a label from the supplier.
