My computer lately is giving me this message Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt
C:\windows\system32\config\system
It asking me to press R for restore disk. While other time it works fine
Help with C:\windows\system32\config\sys...
Either your hard drive is failing, your ram is failing, or your computer is overheating. Try taking the side panel off and cleaning it out for starters and then get it to boot and pick start menu, run type chkdsk c: /f
Reply:Watch out,mine started that and whaam i had a virus to beat all.Had to redo the whole computer.It was a mess.The widows/system 32 is your main system for real problem's.May not be that in your's but it was mine.Anything else going on beside's that?Good luck.
