After a recent power outage, my Sony Vaio desktop computer running Windows XP crashed. After attempts to restart it in every given mode option, I began a system restore. Since there are important files on drive D, I chose the option to only perform a full system restore on drive C. However, when this restore reaches 85% complete, it says that a critical failure has occurred. What should I do?
Critical failure during full system restore of drive C?
Get the content copied and do a full factory restore.?
