Does the system save function on a Compaq Presario running 98SE and with C and D drives save the entire 98SE operating system programs and files or just personal data and files on the C drive?

Everything is save on the C: by default unless you specify other wise.
OS is on the C: anything you save on the D: will be there but other wise everything in my documents and Desktop is in the C:
my advise save data in D: and leave C: for the OS and programs
