Im going to formate my hard drive and found out that i have two local c and system_sav d can i delete them?

It might be a good idea to find out what is on the d partition. Most Dell high end pc's come from the factory with an image of ur c/drive O.S. which makes it very easy and quick to reinstall ur windows O.S. U don't want to reformat that if u have it because once u loose it, it can't be replaced. Clik start%26gt;right clik my computer%26gt;clik manage%26gt;clik disc management and it will show all ur partitions, then right clik the d partition and it shud give u some idea whats on it. If there's nothing u need on the d partition this is the place to delete it. Then insert ur windows disc (make sure u can boot from ur rom) and in the installation process windows will reformat ur drive for u. just follow it along and answer a few questions.

Since you have 2 partitions (C: and D:), when you are trying to format, it will ask you which drive you want to format.

C: will contains your OS, windows, linux, etc...

If you feel that there is no need to format your D: drive, you can always format the C: alone.
Reply:you can format either or both drives
Reply:WHEN YOU FORMAT THE HARD DRIVE U CAN WIPE OUT EVERYTHING AND CHANGE PARTIONS BUT THE D: DRIVE HAS SYSTEM INFO YOU MIGHT WANT TO KEEP UNLESS YOUR CHANGING OR UP GRADEING YOU P C
