Hey, what R the minimum reqs as far as RAM and process speed to run Win XP?where do i look 2 C if system can?
128mb ram minimum, 256 recommended
either 1ghz or faster processor. u should be able to find this on microsoft.com
Reply:Windows XP installation cd includes a compatibility tester program to check if your computer can run it, but anyway I think 128 MB in Ram and 400 Mhz in Processor are enough.

Right click on "My Computer" and select properties. It will show you what your system has. If this is a retail unit then you could go to the manufacturers website and look it up by either model#, or serial#.
Reply:besides from a decent CPU (at least a CELERON-class), there is a minimum of 128Mb RAM needed in order to run WinXP.
