It also says one of ur disk needs to be ckd for consistency %26amp; may cancel disk check @ any time. But it is strongly recommended that you continue. I never got this before starting up.

Go ahead and let it scan the disk.

It just means that one of the files needed to boot up your system in missing or corrupted. Let It run the scan. It may take a while before it completes.
Reply:you might have switched off your pc instead of doing shutdown or power-out happened last time, so the system check is. Always shutdown your pc properly. (start%26gt;turn off computer%26gt;turn off)
Reply:You normally get this message when your computer didn't shutdown properly. Sometimes its best to let it run, depending on the speed of your computer it takes approx 30 minutes or so? What its doing is checking your file system to make sure nothing is corrupt. You can also do this manually Its called a Check Disk.
Reply:Do You get it all the time when you turn your comp on? or did it just happend once or twice? Just let it scan first and it scans your sytem its good for itself. then Volia
