How can I kill the mold forming in the A/C system of my vehicle?
get some lysol and spray it either under the dash on the passenger side of the car under the dash with the blower running and on recycle, or spray it in the cowl by the windshield on the outside of the car with the blower running. then you can take a fragrance that you like and spray it in the same place and it will stay with you alot longer than any air freshener would.
Reply:the best way to clean and get rid of it is to dis-assemble the heater box and find the cause of it,then once you do that you can kill it out,and get rid of it for good,some of the mold that grows is very harmful to your lungs,so be careful about breathing this,if you don't feel comfortable cleaning it you can take it to a shop there are places that specialize in doing this,good luck,hope this helps.

Reply:you have a drain hose that comes out under the car its stopped up so the water isn't draining out of your heater box look under the car until you find the drain hose and blow a little air back through it with an air hose to unstop it.
