But del. %26amp; clean options are not active on them. what can i do?
I use NOD32 anti-virus,when i scan in depth my PC,2 files (c: system volume inf...) are infected but?
I think you have to delete the files manually. You can open the system volume information by follow this instruction http://www.tweakxp.com/article36959.aspx
After you open the folders you can delete the files manually, usually the folders with previous date is safe to delete. Hope it helps.
Reply:The best way to clean your system is online (if you are connected to the internet)
Moreover you have to take care of not only Viruses but also spyware, trojan horses, malware etc.,
I recommend to you using Grisoft's AVG if you are using it for personal use.
If you would like to take care of Malware, Spyware etc.,
use www.ewido.net for online cleaning of rogueware.
For online scan you can try : http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Reply:System Volume Information is where your System Restore files are located. Therefore, the malware is in your System Restore files which are basically locked by Windows so your security software cannot touch it, to remove the infected file.
The solution is easy. You simply need to delete all your old system restore points. To do so:
go to control panel %26gt; system %26gt; system restore %26gt; check mark "Turn off system restore on all drives" %26gt; apply %26gt; answer "yes" %26gt; OK %26gt; reboot. Then turn System Restore back on again.
Reply:The file path is incomplete but it looks to me that the malware is in the system restore volumes. Malware may still be lurking in your system restore volumes so it would be in your best interests to disable system restore, reboot then re-enable system restore when you log back on. What this does is protects you from reloading the malware should you ever need to do a system restore.
Many anti-virus products cannot remove viruses from system restore thus the reason for clearing out possible infected points. For reference to this, see the link below:
Problems with System Restore
There are some problems associated with System Restore when it comes to viruses. When restore points are created they are stored in a directory that is accessible only to the System account and not to a user. This keeps the restore points safe from misuse and tampering. Unfortunately this also means that any virus scan software you may have installed can not scan the files located there as well. This causes a problem if a file that is infected with a virus gets backed up into a restore point because now the anti-virus software can not clean it. Now if you ever restore from a restore point, that file that is infected will be introduced back into your system.
