Whenever i startup my pc i'm getting this message on my desktop C:\windows\system 32\cmd.exe?
i think cmd.exe is automatically started when your computer boots

just go to start-programs-startup

check if there is a file named cmd

if yes then delete it and

DONE- STOP IT HERE DONT FOLLOW THE REST OF THE ANSWER

if there is no cmd file

then go to run type regedit press enter

you will see a dialog box

go to hkey current user-software-microsoft-windows-current version-run when u do this, in the right pane , you will see some keys , now delete a key , which runs cmd("BE CAREFUL WHILE MESSING UP WITH REGISTRY, I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES YOU DO TO YOUR COMPUTER"), if u still dont see

cmd.exe there and do the same thing with key local machine

again("BE CAREFUL WHILE MESSING UP WITH REGISTRY, I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES YOU DO TO YOUR COMPUTER")
Reply:First off, "norton anti virus and AVG" is a serious NoNo. Your system must be super slow, because these two programs are conflicting with each other.

ONLY use one Anti-virus tool. Choose the one you like and remove the other one. Reboot your PC and see if the Error Message disappears.

If not, re-post with more details, like "No change or This is what happens now", and we'll try to help.
Reply:It is most likely just a run-time error caused by a missing registry key the only way I am sure to get rid of it is to reinstall windos
