How can i get rid of Windows 2000 on a dual boot system having XP & 2000? 2000 is on C: & XP on D:?

I installed Windows 2000 %26amp; XP on 2 partitions. 2000 on C: %26amp; XP on D:. I want to get rid of 2000 now and utilise the drive occupied by 2000. The system is dual boot and i don't want anything to mess up once i get rid of 2000.

It they are on entirely separate partitions, you can just format your partition with 2000 on it while in your XP.

No sweat, so long as you haven't installed ANYTHING onto your C: while using your XP install.

Make sure you are using the D:\boot.ini (that it exists) and not your C:\boot.ini.
