Go to C:\Documents and Settings\(Your account)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. If it's there delete it. Good Luck.
Reply:SOUNDS LIKE YOUR HARD DRIVE HAS PROBLEMS I WOULD GET ANOTHER BEFORE IT GOES OUT OR RUN FDISK OR DEFRAG YOU MAY HAVE A BAD SPOT ON YOUR HARD DRIVE SO WATCH OUT
Reply:try downloading AVG anti-virus, its free and great, and it never hurts to have 2 anti-virus programs, so, it might have something to do with how you are shutting down your computer, also, have you tired clearing un-needed file and also de-fragmenting your computer, this can be done by going (on XP)

control panel --%26gt; performance and matenace --%26gt; then doing both the 'free up space...." and the "rearrange items on your hard disk..."

other than that, maybe look at saving all the files you need to DVD's or an External drive and rebooting the computer...

maybe while your on Grisofts site, looking at AVG Anti-Virus, have a look at there free anti spyware, as you might have keylogger, trojens or other spy/spamware :)
