it depend on the student what is their need but in mba marketing field play important role bcos if u have any type of good product but not known how to sell this and how ur company get profit then u are totally failure
a scientist invent his new product but not know how he produce profit then a company pataent his prtoduct and gave him small amount of money and earn huge of money and profit by his invention
a company did not sell their product very effectively and the product discover by their own but they did not earn more profit by their market but a company launch same product by pirate their product and earn many more profit by the same product bcos that company know the complete sense the market stratergy
so why marketing ideas very necessary for any mba
bcos u and company want totally profit any how and its all depend on ur marketing grip and how much u understand real markets
